SITE Canada has compiled a fabulous collection of recipes from SITE members and industry colleagues around the globe. This recipe book will evolve, updated annually with new submissions from our members.
​
We hope this recipe book will inspire our members to incorporate more sustainable food & beverage choices when planning incentive programs.
​
These recipes are the favourites of event professionals and have come from multiple sources. As a result, each recipe has unique formatting.

AWARD WINNERS
SITE Canada excels on both an individual level and a chapter level. In 2009, 2012, 2013, 2016, and 2022, SITE Canada was awarded the Chapter of the Year award from SITE for our outstanding programs, member services and charitable work in the community.
In 2010, 2011, 2014, 2015, and 2022 SITE Canada won the Chapter Excellence Awards for Membership. Education, and Special Event. In 2020, SITE Canada won the first Chapter Excellence for Virtual Engagement Award. In 2024, SITE Canada won the SITE Chapter Excellence in Sustainable Event Award.

In 2020, SITE Canada earned its Sustainability Certification.

SITE Canada also recognizes the outstanding achievements of our many dedicated volunteers through our Volunteer Champion Program.

SITE CANADA ICE AWARDS
Awarding Excellence in Canada
The SITE Canada Incentive Creative Excellence (ICE) Awards showcases and celebrates the outstanding achievements of our Canadian members in designing, executing and hosting exceptional incentive programs. These awards provide a local focus while embodying the same spirit of excellence as SITE’s global Crystal Awards.
The ICE Awards shine a spotlight on programs that stand out for their creativity and innovation, as well as the positive impact they had on both the attendees and the host destination. This annual awards program features two categories: ‘Program Excellence’ and ‘Destination Excellence’. You are welcome to submit the same program for consideration in both categories if it meets the criteria.

The ‘Program Excellence’ award recognizes an outstanding incentive program created and managed by SITE Canada members. It can be awarded to a group or individual travel program that showcase creativity, unique approaches, and effective promotions. Key evaluation criteria include attendee feedback and demonstrated return on investment (ROI) for the company.

The ‘Destination Excellence’ award recognizes an innovative and influential program by SITE Canada members, highlighting exceptional destination marketing, local partnerships and program execution. The focus is on unique approaches to showcasing a destination’s culture, food, history, and attractions, emphasizing collaboration with local partners and cultural immersion. Key evaluation factors include creativity, innovative solutions, and memorable experiences that engage with the destination.​

The qualifying period for eligible incentive programs is January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. Submissions will be accepted until February 13, 2026.

Winning a SITE ICE Award offers significant benefits for both the SITE member and their company. As an incentive travel professional, it enhances your professional credibility while showcasing your expertise. For your company, it demonstrates leadership in incentive travel, strengthens brand recognition, and highlights its commitment to creativity and excellence.

The award also provides valuable exposure, fostering trust and confidence among your clients, partners, and stakeholders while positioning you as an innovator in your field.

The qualifying period for eligible incentive programs is January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2025. Submissions will be accepted until February 13, 2026.
The award winners will be announced at SITE Canada’s AGM and ICE Awards in March 2026. The winners will be presented with a commemorative award at the event, along with additional recognition on SITE Canada’s website and featured in InSITEs & Inspirations, SITE Canada’s newsletter. All winners receive the privilege of using the SITE ICE Award logo on their business cards and email signatures.
