One of the greatest features of our beautiful country is how our cultural diversity stretches from coast to coast. You can travel across Canada and experience so many different and incredible things! This advantage can also be challenging when trying to engage an audience that is so spread out geographically.
SITE Canada is incredibly excited to bridge this gap with our members and industry colleagues in Vancouver with our first Chapter Meeting in this great city! We welcome members and non-members to our educational event where you will gain valuable insights into the SITE Foundation and its research findings, how to strengthen and build your workforce for the future and how to thrive in our industry in an age of relentless disruption.
We look forward to welcoming you at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver on Wednesday, May 24th!

Session Summary: The Future of our Workforce
The World Economic Forum says we are now entering the fourth Industrial Revolution, one where we no longer are taking steps, but leaps forward. Considering exponential integration of technology and accessibility of information being greater now than ever before, what stories are we telling to attract the right candidates to the workforce? More so, how are we finding purpose in the work we do and happiness in the lives we live? In his presentation, Eric talks about the importance of community and belonging at work. The conversation about the future of work is bigger than Millennials and generations, and spans wider than technology and workplace aesthetic- it is about people and creating a life each of us can enjoy living through the work we do.

David Allison
Session Summary: Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? How you and your industry can thrive in an age of relentless disruption.
As a survivor of an industry in turmoil, David explains the patterns to watch for, and how to prepare and prosper through radical sector transformation. From travel to advertising, so many traditional industries have been changed irrevocably, with more change on the horizon, and more industries soon to follow. But some companies and individuals emerge from the rubble unharmed, and even stronger than before. David reveals actionable steps to ensure you and your company win not just the battle, but the war.
David will also share findings from his latest research, culled from 40,000 survey responses across Canada and the USA. Specifically, he has identified a very powerful audience of experience-seekers, and will share, for the first time ever, the key motivators and characteristics of this group. Attendees will leave armed with new knowledge they can immediately implement when planning incentives or experiences for this age-free, post-demographic tribe.
